Nanook Rates

Shooting 

Generally days are booked as a standard* 4 hour half day and a standard* 8 hours for a full day. Nanook shoots 7 days a week all year round. Nanook is based in Brisbane but we travel regularly around Australia and overseas for work. Any extra hours above a standard* 8 hour day can be worked out in advance. Everything is negotiable as we have a no tears no drama policy.

Shooting and video editing packages available

Nanook rates are charged for as 4 hour half day and as an 8 hour full day

HALF DAY= $500 to $880  depending on equipment and shooting format DVCAM, Panasonic P2, HDV, XDCAM, Digital BETACAM, SD or HD            

FULL DAY= $880 to $1200 depending on equipment and shooting format DVCAM, Panasonic P2, HDV, XDCAM, Digital BETACAM, SD or HD

Overtime is $100 per hour

Talk to Nanook if you need an underwater cameraman as we can arrange that for you

Below you will find a guide only, of what is usually charged for many different types of shoots by every Production House Australia wide

Corporate video packages start at $800 for a simple message, with the average cost usually being $3000

Video News Release packages (VNR), Electronic Press Kit (EPK), Media Kits, or Hand Out Tapes can cost anywhere in-between $1300 to $3000

Making of Documentaries From $550 a day for added value features for DVD releases- interviews, product shots fly on the wall etc

News, Sports, and Documentary From $400

Instructional video packages like How-to videos, Sports training videos, Product instruction videos start at $2000

Public Service Announcements (PSA) or not for profit television commercial prices usually start at $4000

Music video packages start at $3000

Prices for shooting a conference, seminar, speech or live events start at $500 for a standard* 4 hours.

Good news for you as discounts apply for advanced block bookings of 3 days or more

* Excessive travel time outside of standard hours will be charged for

Editing 

As each project is different- we can work to your  budget, work on a per hour basis, or work on a per project basis. Both offline and online editing can be arranged in either linear or non linear editing suites. We can also handle tape dubs and DVD conversions. As a guide allow $110 minimum an hour for editing. Editing is booked in blocks of 4 hours.

GST 

Australia has a 10% goods and services tax in place and Nanook charges, and  claims GST. So all prices will be charged as GST inclusive. Visiting overseas clients must pay GST  in Australia- if the  goods and services are used or consumed in  Australia, you pay GST. If the vision is not shown in Australia you do not pay GST.
